The Postal Service - awesome music. The singer from Death Cab for Cutie paired with a techno/club/house style producer. You'd think it was fucking terrible, but it works. Not sure it can be recommended to people who like Death Cab, Ben Gibbard's lyrics are less introspective and personal, but his singing style is basically the same. I can imagine the music alienating a lot of people, though.
State of the Union Address - Ignore Bush's inane ramblings, just grab the Rise Against track State of the Union and get your heavy aggression on. Please Rise Against, make the next album 12 tracks of this style, and leave the AFI influences on the back burner. It's good and everything, but I need some more of that heavy stuff.
Design of Dissent - I saw this book at Borders yesterday, someone had stripped the protective plastic to free the artwork inside. Lots of great, anti-political themed artwork and posters collected into a very thick compendium... awesome, awesome stuff. There's stuff in there spanning the last 70 years, and enough Bush stuff to assure it flies off of the shelves. I'd like to see a similar compendium of propaganda posters and artwork... anyone know of a good one?
I heard some jackoff say "Peace out with your cock out" the other day, probably the best sign off I've ever heard. So there you go.

So that is how I learned the lesson that everyones alone.
And your eyes must do some raining if you are ever gonna grow.
But when crying don't help and you can't compose yourself.
It is best to compose a poem, an honest verse of longing or simple song
